Bullock v. Northeast Utilities

A lawsuit filed in 1992 in Superior Court of New Haven by Meadow Street resident
Melissa Bullock and her mother Suzanne, of Guilford, charged that EMF from a nearby substation,
transmission and distribution lines caused Melissa’s astrocytoma brain tumor. Plaintiffs are represented
by the Bridgeport firm of Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder, with assistance from the Washington D.C.
Trial Lawyers for Public Justice and the Baltimore firm of Quinn, Ward & Kershaw, and attorney
Michael Withy of the Seattle law firm of Schroeter, Goldmark & Bender. Northeast Utilities is
